SCHWEBELVILLE, TEXAS
I retired from the Lake Jackson Veterinary Clinic in 2001; however, I set up my horse stanchion and cow chutes and constructed a small office in Brazoria, Texas on the home place. I am doing only farm animal medicine – no dogs and cats.
Busier than I thought it would be. At first I said I was semi-retired; but now I don’t even think it is semi.
INTERESTS AND HOBBIES
My interests and hobbies are almost too great especially for the time I have to spend on them. Fishing, hunting, Boer goats, sports and traveling. I became President of the Brazoria Heritage Foundation in September of 2003. Our group saved and remodeled a 1933 elementary school auditorium and a complex containing seven buildings. Most of my spare time is involved in this project.
Also started a company S & W Veterinary Products, Inc. Our primary product is “Quik Heal”. Check out the link.
GRAND CHILDREN (Little Ankle Biters)
We have six wonderful grandchildren. They love to come to the country and ride the tractor; ride Cocoa, the horse; play with Jima, the lab and play with the goats.
