I have not found where John CHESNEY was born (possibly Missouri) and do not know his parents YET. I feel they are connected also to the CROWNOVERS and RABBS

John CHESNEY b. ca. 1800 was in Texas in 1830. He married Elizabeth CASTLEMAN b. ca. 1810 on May 14, 1830. He had land in Burleson and Washington Counties. Sylvanus CASTLEMAN was Elizabeth's father and he was one of Stephen F. AUSTIN'S first colonists to Texas (The Old 300)

Thomas Perry CHESNEY was born 1834 and died ca. 1862 as he was on Confederate 24 Cav. Texas muster roll at age 28 He married Nancy TAYLOR born March 1842 and died Nov. 26, 1902 in Karnes Co. She was born in Newton Co. MS. Nancy married 2nd John A. WOFFARD

Alfred CHESNEY born May 2, 1859 Goliad Co. Tx died Aug 7, 1883 buried in Weesache, Texas. He married Elizabeth HODGES on June 21, 1881 in Goliad Co. Texas. Elizabeth was born December 1869. She married 2nd Jacob YOUNG.

Thomas Perry CHESNEY was b. April 16, 1882 in Nordheim, Texas and died Nov. 3, 1905 and is buried in Runge Tx, with a WOW grave marker. He married Minnie Jane CUSTER on Sept. 11, 1902 in Dewitt Co. Tx. Minnie was born Aug. 12, 1885 in Beeville, Tx and died July 20, 1963 in Garden Grove, Orange Co. CA. Buried in Westminister District Cemetery. Minnie married 2nd: Edward BERGEN 3rd: Thomas CAUSEY

Ernest Holdon CHESNEY was born Aug 8, 1905 in Nordheim, Dewitt Co. Texas died June 18, 1966 in Wharton Co. Texas. He married Virginia Douglas BRUNNER on Feb. 16, 1930 in Brazoria Co. Texas. Virginia was born March 1, 1908 in Alvin, Tx died June 30, 1997 in West Columbia, Tx. She married 2nd: Alfred Jackson CHESNEY, Ernest's brother

Patricia Weems CHESNEY (me) born Dec. 24, 1938 married Robert Lee SCHWEBEL on July 11, 1958. Robert was born July 29, 1938 in New Gulf, Texas
