George HEALE (HALE) born Sept. 8, 1726 in Lancaster Co. VA  d. 1806  of Fauquier Co. VA. married Sarah SMITH born 12-28-1732 in Northcumberland Co.VA. d. after August 1797 in Fauquier Co. VA Sarah was the daughter of Phillip SMITH of "Purton" Gloucester Co., VA and a granddaughter of Col. Their son, Philip HEALE (HALE) b. April 18, 1753 d. October 20, 1819 married Catharine DOUGLASS April 21, 1779. Catharine's parents were William DOUGLASS b. ca. 1725 and Elizabeth Offutt LEWIS. Catherine was b. June 3, 1762 in Loudoun Co. VA. died October 17, 1849.  They are buried on Fish Hatchery Road  in Greene County TN in a field where they lived.

Their son, Philip Smith HALE I was b. 11-8-1793 in Greene Co. TN d. June 2, 1867 Hawkins Co. TN;  married Elizabeth BACHMAN on January 1, 1818. Elizabeth was born November 8, 1799 in Sullivan Co. TN and d. July 13, 1891. They are buried on Stanley Valley Road near Rogersville, TN in Hawkins Co. across from their home which was still standing in 1985. Elizabeth's parents were Nathan BACHMAN and Ann PEEBLES.

Their son, Philip Smith HALE II b. December 10, 1830 Hawkins Co. TN d. May 1911 married Margaret Campbell SMITH b. July 11, 1834 d. January 1, 1890 Hawkins Co. TN. They are buried in the McPhetters Bend Baptist Church Graveyard in Churchill, TN.  Margaret's parents were Samuel SMITH and Elizabeth MCPHEETERS.

Their daughter, Sarah Phipps HALE b. July 31, 1869 Hawkins Co. TN d. May 14, 1960 Harris Co. TEXAS married Floyd Judson BRUNNER on October 4, 1893 Hawkins Co. TN. Floyd was born. July 30, 1861 Greene Co. TN and d. May 28, 1947 in Brazoria Co. Texas. They are buried in Damon, Texas. Floyd's parents were Archibald Anderson BRUNER and Matilda CROUCH.

Their daughter, Virginia Douglas BRUNNER b. March 1, 1908 d. June 30, 1997 married Ernest Holdon CHESNEY on February 16, 1930. They are buried in West Columbia, Texas. Ernest's parents were Thomas Perry CHESNEY and Minnie Jane CUSTER.

Their daughter, Patricia Weems CHESNEY (that's me) was b. December 24, 1938 married Robert Lee SCHWEBEL on July 11, 1958. Robert Lee SCHWEBEL was born July 29, 1938 and his parents are Joseph Martin SCHWEBEL and Susie Vera DOWE. All reside in Brazoria County, TX
