Quilting

MUSIC ON/OFF
I have been quilting at a fast pace since about 1981. I am 63 years old so I have to work fast if I want to make a quilt for every known son, grandchild, niece, nephew, cousin, friend - you name it!

My grandmother, Sarah Phipps Hale Brunner, taught me how to make a crazy quilt when I was about 9 years old. The fabric was from our old dresses. Didn't get started again until my son Darrell, said he wanted me to make him a bandana quilt. I finally accomplished that plus about 10 others and some grandbaby blankets.

Here I am quilting a replica of a quilt my mother made when she was about 9 years old.

I belong to the Plantation Quilting Guild in Lake Jackson, Texas (125 quilters strong). We have a quilt show every other year. I also belong to a Quilt Bee called "The Tipsy Quilters". We meet twice a month and do a lot of eating, visiting and some quilting.
