August 19, 1881 to Susie Anna ROBINSON. Thomas died December 28, 1927
and Susie died September 12, 1900 and they are buried in Bloomington,
Texas

Their daughter, Mary Elizabeth CLARK b. September 16, 1888 in Crockett,
Texas d. August 15, 1980 was married on December 2, 1906 to Emmett Lee
DOWE who was b. October 30, 1886 in Eagle Pass Texas d. July 10, 1957.
Both are buried in Victoria, Texas.

September 14, 1888 in Maverick County TX married Mandana Paralee FUDGE.
Mandana was b. November 4, 1868 d. July 11, 1940 and is buried in
Yoakum, TX. Mandana married 2nd to Samuel STEVENS

Parents of Oran C. DOWE are James Monroe DOW of Dewitt Co. Texas and Jenette SIMPSON. They came from Mississippi. Children of James Monroe DOW and Jenette Simpson DOW are:

James W. DOW'S parents are O. C. DOW b. about 1796 in Coventry County, Connecticut m. Martha MIRES of Lawrence Co. Ms. in 1819.

SCHWEBEL HORN WOOD BOMMER STENGEL

George SCHWEBEL was 50 yrs. old and a cabinetmaker when he came to New Orleans, Louisiana, USA about 1850.  His wife was Marie BOMMER Schwebel born 9-3-1814 born in Reinhardmunster, Alsace, France and died 12-8-1864 in Algiers, Louisiana. According to the 1850 US Census their children were Mary 14 yrs; August 12 yrs; George 10 yrs; Theodore 8 yrs; and Henry 4 yrs. Marie Anne BOMMER'S Parents were Joseph BOMMER and Catherine STENGEL. Catherine STENGEL was born about 1783 and died March 6, 1842 in France. I want to know how they came to New Orleans and where George SCHWEBEL was born and who were his parents.

Theodore SCHWEBEL married Marie HORN (WOOD) on 12-4-1880.

George SCHWEBEL b. 4-10-1882 in New Orleans, LA died April 8, 1944 married Dora Ellis SHELBY born 10-24-1887 in Aransas Pass, TX died 4-15-1972. Both are buried in Wharton, Texas
